On Monday night, Fairfax County police stood outside the Home Depot near Falls Church, where an Arlington woman was killed. The attack involved a single shot, as did the other shootings that authorities have linked to the sniper by ballistic evidence.
Officers cover the area where Linda Franklin was shot at the lower level of the Home Depot parking deck near the intersection of Route 50 and Route 7 in Fairfax County. She had just left the store with her bags and was at her car when she was shot, police said.
